1. How long does it take to paint the outside of my 2 story home?

About 2 weeks (or 8-9 business days) to do homes 3000 to 4000 sq ft depending on intricacies of trim and color choices.

 

2. And the inside of my home?

For a basic repaint of liv, fam. Rm, kitch, 2 bath 3 bed, 2 hallways, about 6 business days. For intricate trim, of course, more time.

 

3. How does the payment method work with you guys?

If the amount is under $1000 – we ask for one payment at the end of the job. If amount of job is between $1000 and $2000 we ask for $500 down and the remaining paid at the completion of the job. If the amount is $2000+ we will as for 25%-33% down, 33% paid at the middle of job and the remaining 33-42% at the completion of the job.

 

4. How involved do I need to be with this painting project.

A. As little as you want: If you do not have much extra time to be involved all we need is for you to meet with us during the time of the estimate for 1hr-1.5hrs to do a few things:    (1) Explain the Job to us, (2) Pick colors, and (3) talk about possible start dates and payment method.

B. As much as needed: In addition to the initial meeting (explained above), you may talk with us after each day of work in order to have a more detailed understanding of work completed and possible problems we ran into. We are open to explaining any and all work that is done to your home.

5. What if I can’t decide on the colors right away?

That’s fine, you do not need to have colors chosen at the time of the 1st meeting. We do ask, however, that you have the colors decided by the start date.

 

6. What if I don't like the colors I chose when they are on a side of the house or in a whole room?

We are flexible. We can and will change the color mid-job for a small fee relative to the total amount. Keep in mind the job may be pushed back a day or two due to reordering new paint.

 

7. What kind of paint do you prefer to use?

We prefer 1st Kelly Moore Paints and 2nd Benjamin Moore Paints. However, we are open to using any brand of paint that you would prefer.
